Jan 28, BANGALORE, INDIA — Muslim terrorists targeted ISKCON Bangalore temple, planned attack there. Terrorists visited ISKCON temples guised as devotees.

Imran Bilal, Kashmiri terrorist, who was arrested recently on the outskirts of Bangalore, has made startling disclosures during the narco-analysis test conducted on Wednesday at Bowring hospital here.

Imran has revealed that Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Toiba's (LeT) Deputy Commander Altama and several other terrorists had visited Bangalore and other cities and delivered lectures to youths on 'Jehad' in secret meetings. The forensic science experts have got answers for their several questions regarding the terrorists' network and organisation in the State.

The questionnaire was centered around the attack of Indian Institute of Science (IISc) in Bangalore in Oct. 2005, the serial bomb blast in Delhi's Sarojini Market on the previous day of Deepavali and other such important issues.

Asked about the efforts taken for the organisation of terrorism and to expand its network in the State, Imran disclosed his links with Fahad and his associate, who were arrested in Mysore and also with the L-e-T Deputy Commander Altama.

Altama had thrice visited Karnataka and delivered lectures on Jehad in Bangalore, Mysore, Belgaum and in several areas of coastal region. Carried away by the oratory skills of Altama, several youths promised to join hands with them and are undergoing training in the camps on the borders of Pakistan and Bangladesh, Imran said.

He also revealed that 12 terrorists including himself, Fahad and Nelagonda Ibrahim had visited the Indian Institute of Science, Electronic city, Vidhana Soudha and some prominent places in Mysore for reviewing the security arrangements.

The same team had visited the Kaiga Atomic Power plant. But they were denied entry there. The same team had also visited the Almatti dam, KRS and other important reservoirs, Imran revealed.

Imran has also disclosed that he along with Fahad had visited ISKCON in Bangalore, Rajarajeshwari temple, Shiva Temple on Airport Road under the guise of devotees and had prepared a blueprint of those buildings.

The terrorists had also visited the L-e-T's hit lists - ISKCON, Dharmasthala, Udupi, Kollur and Chamundi Hill- several times to decide a suitable time for the attack.

Imran said that the Lashkar-e-Toiba's aim is to create disharmony through communal clashes before they conduct their operations on religious centres.

Imran has revealed some shocking information about terrorists in the narco-analysis test conducted thrice till now. But he has never disclosed about their network. Sources said that he is not giving proper information about his links with the terrorists.

He, however, reiterated that he was not directly involved in the attack on IISc, Bangalore. But has said that the attacks were conducted according to the directions of Altama.

Police said that the proper picture regarding the attack on IISc is still not known, as Imran was giving confusing statements.

However, the forensic science experts opined that they are optimistic about getting a clear picture, when such test will be conducted on him in a day or two.
